S. aromaticum flower buds can be combined with 0.2% lemon balm (Mellisa officinalis L.) extract or 0.2% agrimony (Agrimonia eupatoria L.) extract to provide a natural source of antioxidants. Dilute the mixture with drinking water (2:1000).
Poultry red mite repellent clove essential oil is a natural way to repel poultry red mite (Dermanyssus gallinae) from the cage.
Insect repellent: Clove essential oil is often used as a natural repellent for mosquitoes and lice.
